Put your faith in god when your fears overwhelm you

Sometimes, your fears may overwhelm you to the point that you feel like giving up. When this happens, the next step is to put your faith in God. Using the help of God can make a big difference in overcoming your fears.

The first step a person should do is to start talking and praying to God. A person can go to church or to a quiet place during the day to tell God that they are having a problem. They should tell God how they feel and ask God for some of his help. A person could also review the Bible and read some articles on trusting in God and then apply these concepts in their life. Each and every day, a person should make it up a habit to talk to God and ask for his help.

In addition, learn as much as you can in managing anxiety and depression. There are many books and information that will educate you on how to deal with fear and anxiety. Share this information with others who may be able to help you. Education is the key in finding the answers your looking for in managing your fears.

Think positive. A good way to manage your fear is to challenge your negative thinking with positive statements and realistic thinking. When encountering thoughts that make your fearful or anxious, challenge those thoughts by asking yourself questions that will maintain objectivity and common sense.

Sometimes, it helps to be able to talk to someone about our stressful situations. Talking to a trusted friend, counselor, or clergyman can not only make us feel better, but they might be able to give you additional advice and insights on how to deal with your current problem. Getting help from a professional will make this entire process easier and will increase your chances of success.

As a Layman, I realized that God is stronger than your fears. The important thing is to continue praying and talking to God. Talk to God as if you were talking to a friend. Read the Bible and pray hard. Be persistent and be open in the avenues that God may provide to you in solving your problem. It is not always easy, however God is in control and he will help you if you ask him.

The new christian belief coaching

Christian Belief or Life Coaching can be traced to both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, that teach, “people do what they do because they believe what they believe,” i. e., “As a man thinks in his heart so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7)

This alternative to traditional Christian counseling is not built on personal therapeutic skills or abilities, but rather on the powerful truth of the Word of God that counters the lies people have unfortunately believed. If a hurting person does not choose to allow God's Word to speak into his or her life, nothing will change. However, when he or she does, God will renew their mind and bring life-changing healing. Rather than focusing on a person's bad behavior, this process focuses on problematic thinking errors that are rooted in a false belief system.

Belief Coaching suggests that life-controlling problems and distortions of reality, responsibility and accountability are based on lies people believe. These lies originated from dysfunctional learning during a person's cognitive development. The Belief Coach helps a Christian client to identify the lies buried in his/her belief system, replace them with the truth, and begin renewing the mind (Rom. 12:2). Appropriating the truth will begin to make the person free by changing the way they think about things. Truth replacement can have, and often has, an immediate effect on a person's actions or behavior, but the renewing of the mind is a process.

One central element of Belief Coaching is the development of a positive Christian self-concept grounded in God’s unconditional, electing love in Jesus Christ. With a Biblical perspective of self-concept a person is released from the burden of having to generate feelings of self-worth based on performance. Since a Christian, i. e., a believer in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, need not be a slave to ego-enhancing behavior, he/she can be free to be unselfish and to manifest virtues such as faith, integrity, knowledge, patience, self-control, God-consciousness, kindness, love, sacrifice, obedience and humility. But without a healthy self-acceptance based on who we are “in Christ,” the practice of these values can easily become a neurotic striving to gain God’s approval.

Miracles what the bible has to say about them

It was a miracle! How many times have you heard someone say that? Probably hundreds of times. But they don't really mean that it was a miracle – what they really mean is that the event they witnessed was amazing, improbable, or inexplicable.

But are there real miracles? Have there been times that the natural laws of the universe, such as gravity, or even death, have been stopped, changed, or reversed? To find the answer to this question, we must turn to the Bible.

Fact #1: Jesus performed many miracles

In the four gospels, we find many instances were Jesus performed miracles, such as “Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see.” (Matthew 12:22) Perhaps one of the most famous of Jesus' miracles was the raising of Lazarus from the dead, which we read about in John 11: “Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days...Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" 44The dead man came out.”

Fact #2: Jesus performed these miracles to prove that he was God

In the book of Acts, Peter says that “Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.”

Fact #3: Jesus gave authority to his disciples to perform miracles

In Matthew 10:1, we're told that Jesus “called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil[a] spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.”

Fact #4: God has given authority to his servants at various times to perform miracles

The Bible has many stories of miracles performed by God's servants – Moses, Elijah, Elisha, and others. The question is – does God still empower his followers to work miracles in his name? That is a tough question. The answer is beyond the scope of this article, but I hope that you will think and study the Bible to find the answer!
