Plug-in profits -- just another scam or the real deal

-- 3 Step Money making formula -- yeah right!

-- No Experience Necessary -- sure I've heard that before!!

-- $40000.00 per month in earnings -- how many times have I seen those claims before?

Well the three steps are not at all a money making formula, they are just the three steps to getting your website. "Build it and they will come". Yes it is a very good website but as I am sure you are aware, unlike the above quote, the internet does not work like that You will only get visitors from your marketing and advertising efforts.

The training provided in the 30 days to success guide is very good. Yes you could probably get some results with out any experience. You would need to be an exception to the typical internet newbie, and be able to focus entirely on the training process and not get distracted by the various other offers made by the numerous websites you will be referred to along the way.

$40000.00 per month. Well that is the claim of Stone Evans, "the Home Biz Guy" who is the founder of the program. He certainly provides plenty of evidence that this is a true statement. Just remember like all of these successful internet marketers, they make that amount of money because they developed the program and are at the top of the system. If you are looking at using these types of systems and they can be very useful and profitable, However you will never match their earnings. Your expectation must be to use it as ONE OF your income streams and as such you would need to set your expectations based around how much time and money you are prepared to spend promoting it.

Like most products offering a pre-loaded website you get it for free. In this instance it is a very comprehensive site.

The program is based around joining 6 key affiliate programs. The affiliates are some of the best going around like Success University, SFI Marketing, and Traffic Swarm.

As you may be aware these programs are not all free to join. This may be an initial deterant. If you were interested in Plug In Profits I would recommend not to sign up for any of the paid programs to begin with. You can always sign up at a later stage. However You will need to sign up for a hosting account. This will cost $25.00 per month.

One of the best features of the system is the 30 days to success training program. So by the time you have gone through the training you will be able to judge the overall viability and suitability for yourself. At that time you can join the programs that require a monthly commitment.

The training is delivered daily to your email. It is also available to view in full in the back office of your website, so you could go through it more quickly if you wish. Each of the daily modules is about the right size and should not cause brain overload. If you are not familiar with the topics I suggest you just do one unit a day or even take a couple of days to fully absorb the concept and do your own research to see if you would like to implement that strategy.

During the sign up period and also in some of the training, you are directed to a variety of paid options for advertising. once again while I do support many of these forms of Advertising I would recommend that the training be completed before any additional capital were outplayed.

Overall, no it is not a scam, if you do your research you will find that it is a worthwhile program, probably better suited to those that have some understanding of the basic forms of internet marketing and advertising. If you are setting up or already have a home based business this would be a good platform to generate a solid regular income.

The right musical instrument

Music is an important tool to calm the mind. Its healing effects have to been to humans for hundreds of years. People practice music for different purposes. While some pursue it as a mere hobby or a means to pass their free time, others are more serious and practice it in a professional manner. Music does not have any kind of barriers. It can be leaded by people of all regions or ages. The only important thing here is that the person must show curiosity to learn all the nuances of music.

After the decision to learn music has been made, next comes the task of selecting the right musical instrument. If we think as far as a decade ago, the number of musical instruments available was less. But this is not the case today. The range of musical instruments available has been increasing day after day. Before setting off to buy musical instruments there are some basic factors which you need to consider.

a) Firstly, you must observe the type of sound that each instrument gives out. The main point here is that the type of sound given by the instrument should be satisfying to you when you hear it. Instruments producing cacophonic sounds should not be selected. There are a number of ways to go about this task. There are a number of websites on the internet which have sound clips of sounds produced by different musical instruments. Some CDs of music composed by many great performers playing different instruments can also be found in the local CD stores.

b) Trying out each instrument – some music store owners are very harsh and don’t let you touch the music instrument unless and until you buy it. However, there are some other music stores which let you the instruments to observe the sound they produce. Pick the instrument which produces the sound that pleases your soul.

c) The sound produced by the instrument should also match with the personality of the individual. Shy and silent persons should do well with instruments producing soft sounds and the same type of reasoning holds well with tough persons.

d) You will also need to consider the money that you will have to spend on purchase and subsequent maintenance of the musical instrument.

e) Instruments should also be selected depending on the surrounding in which they will be played so as to prevent inconvenience to the people around you.

Ezine marketing - what to do and what not to do

Every day more and more people start working from home on line. An Ezine is something that a lot of people who work online have, or better said started. Many of them start writing an Ezine and then begin loosing readers or even worst never get off the ground because they don’t send newsletters on a regular basis to their readers.

Today I’m going to talk to you about what you should and shouldn’t add in your newsletter.

If you ever find yourself asking what to write next in your newsletter then it means you should start looking for some inspiration. You can browse the internet and see what people working in the same field as you are sending out. What articles they include and how do they advertise their business. Remember that your newsletter can be a very good way to advertise your business or to include information about different products you might be selling.

If you for whatever reasons can’t write the articles you can use free article websites such as ezinearticles. com where you can find the articles you need. It is a simple way of getting a good article, and you just have to tell the author than you plan to publish his article. This is a good thing in general since the author will most probably forward your newsletter since his article is featured in it.

Also always try to expand your mailing list. A good way to do this is to get your ads out there. So for example I write an article which I publish in a newsletter. I allow 4 ads per issue and I could charge for those ads, but if reaching a larger audience is what you are after then you should try exchanging ads with another newsletter owner. They get their ad on your newsletter and you get yours on theirs.

In your newsletter you should also add information about new members or about you. Also any new book release or any information that is related to the topic of your Ezine. Always remember to add in your newsletter information about your services and include your website’s URL. It would be wise to include in your issue unsubscribing instructions and to point out the benefits your readers get from your newsletter.

It isn’t that important how often you send your newsletter. What is important is that you make it on a regular basis. You can send your Ezine once a month, twice a month, weekly even if you want. The only thing you must look out for is keeping your readers interested in what you are writing.

From my experience here are some pointers to a successful newsletter: Use spell check, white space and do not overcrowd your newsletter. Only use ads that are important to the content of your Ezine, include unsubscribing information and make sure your readers can have some input in the way your Ezine looks.

These are just a part of the things that a newsletter should have and should follow. If you follow these steps you can be sure that in no time your newsletter will grow and start attracting more and more people. Getting a good customer base will ensure that you will have enough people to spread the word about your Ezine, and thus receive free advertising.

Spread betting is worth the risk for clued-up traders

THE persistent refusal of Chancellor Gordon Brown to make any commitment to reform Stamp Duty Reserve Tax on share transactions - at 0.5 per cent the highest in Europe - has played a large part in the remarkable growth in popularity of Contracts for Difference (CFDs) and spread betting.

Since, unlike conventional instruments, CFDs (read more about them on contracts-for-difference. com) and spread bets do not confer ownership of the underlying asset - traders buy or sell the price movement in the underlying equity without ever taking delivery of it - neither is subject to stamp duty. And because spread betting falls within the gaming laws, it is also exempt from Capital Gains Tax.

The other key appeal of spread betting is that, as a margin product, it enables traders to gear up their investments. And because, as a margin product, traders could potentially lose a multiple of their initial stake, spread betting is recommended for use only by professionals, day traders and experienced investors.

But while there are risks attached to spread betting, there are various tools available - such as guaranteed stop losses - that can help manage that risk by, for example, inputting to the system parameters to alert traders to specified price movements.

Another reason for the recent growth in the popularity of spread betting can be attributed to the fact that, in addition to speculating on the underlying equity, investors can trade on the various indices. Indeed, spread betting enables traders to profit from both up and down movements on a wide variety of financial markets, whether indices, individual shares or commodities, such as gold or crude oil.

Unlike fixed odds betting, under spread betting traders don't risk a certain amount per bet, and there is no fixed profit or loss.

That's because the profit and loss on a financial spread bet is always open as the trader is betting a stake - usually pounds per point - on the direction of the market.

For example, a trader might expect the FTSE 100 index to rise and so decide to buy it at Ј2 a point using a spread bet. If the trader bought the FTSE 100 index at 4950, risking Ј2 a point, and then sold it when it rallied 50 points to 5000, his profit would be Ј100. But if the index moved lower and the trader subsequently sold his bet at 4925 to take a loss, then he would lose Ј50.

This is the difference between fixed odds betting and spread betting - a trader's ultimate profit and loss with spread betting is never known until he liquidates the bet.

Using spread bets a trader can also bet on a downward market by selling short. If he was bearish towards the FTSE 100, expecting lower prices in the future, then he could sell the index short at say the market price of 4950, and then cover this bet or buy it back at 4900. If his stake was Ј2 a point then his profit would be a tax-free Ј100.

But if his view is incorrect and the FTSE 100 rises, and so he decides to take a loss by buying back his down-bet or short trade at 5000, losing 50 points multiplied by his Ј2 stake represents a Ј100 loss.

The most significant cost in spread betting is the spread - the difference between the bid and the offer price - and this is the main reason why hedge funds use CFDs and not spread bets. The wider the spread, the more a speculator will pay to trade.

Fortunately, though, spreads are getting tighter due to increased competition as investors are beginning to realise the advantages of financial spread betting.

Spread betting appeals to the same kind of market as CFDs, namely experienced traders, active in the market who understand the risks associated with margins and gearing. Much of spread betting can be short-term trades, volume-based, high volume day traders coming in and out of positions.

Experienced traders all spread bet for the simple reason that if they can make Ј10,000 from spread betting, then they can keep Ј10,000 spread betting, rather than handing over a significant proportion of it to the taxman.

Cooking in cast iron cookware

ou can probably recall your grandparents using cast iron frying pans and skillets. On Sunday, you were sure to have fried chicken cooked in a cast iron frying pan and some delicious gravy to cover that rice.

There are many pieces of cast iron cookware. Many a fine meals have been prepared in cast iron frying pans and skillets. Cast iron has handles that can endure the heat. When you're not using your cookware, it is best to grease it down to prevent rust . Cleaning cast iron is rather simple if cleaned while warm. Wash out and towel dry. Storing food in cast iron is not recommended. Moisture can form and cause rust to develop . This could be very harmful.

Cast Iron Cookware : Fry Pans - great for frying chicken or fish Dutch Ovens - Can be used for many purposes. This can be used when camping out or cooking your favorite pot of soup or beans. Cornbread Pan - ideal for cooking cornbread or small pieces of fish. Flat Bottom Square Skillet - used for frying up that bacon or sausage. Country Kettle - makes some great chili, soups and stews. Cast Iron Charcoal Grill - great for grilling on picnics. You can find this cookware at ball games where tailgating is permitted.

Campers use cast iron cookware to prepare their outdoor meals. Haven't you ever eaten that fried bacon, eggs and outdoor toast? Catching fish and frying them up outdoors by the creek is awesome. Sporting events , is an excellent place to see cast iron cookware put through a test.

Cast Iron cookware isn't all that expensive. It does require more maintenance than other cookware. Preserving your cookware is simple. Keep it clean and greased down.

If your parents and grandparents used cast iron cookware , you can believe that it is durable and can stand the heat. The weight of the cast iron helps to equalize the heat. Cast iron is great for slow cooking .

When selecting your cookware , cast iron is the only one that has multiple uses. Indoor and outdoor usage. Having cast iron cookware will benefit your family for generations to come. Carry your children and grandchildren down to the creek and fry those fish up. Camp out and enjoy the scent of that bacon cooking and that coffee brewing. Your life will never be the same , once you invest in cast iron cookware. Prepare to hand down your cast iron cookware to your children. It is that durable.

Starting a greeting cards business - retail

What business offers high profit margins with sales all year round? Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Easter, Valentines Day, Birthdays & Christmas are just some of the many occasions celebrated around the world and they all demand greeting cards and associated products.

Retailing greeting cards, small gifts, tags, ribbons, bows, key rings & fridge magnets all offer high profit margins. The minimum mark up is over a hundred percent but because the retail price is low, people do not mind paying a decent premium.

Most suppliers are happy to give thirty to sixty days credit whilst your customers pay cash! Cashflow is important in any business and this business offers great cashflow.

Location is key to the success of this business. Find a busy road where other retailers have set up shop and there is a high foot flow. It is not necessary to be in the town centre where rents and rates can be far too high. A busy market or main thorough fare is good enough.

The hours are good as mainly you will have to be open at 9:00am and finish by 5:30pm six days a week with Sundays off. I know of one retailer who starts a little later around 10:00am but then stays open until 6:30pm to cater for people buying a gift on their way home from work.

The design of the shop front and interior can make or break this business. Creating a front that is appealing and then spending money on quality shop fitting is money that will be well spent. Many small greeting card retailers make the mistake of not displaying their wares correctly.

You will need a minimum of 1000 square feet of display plus somewhere to carry your stock. The premises should be carpeted and well lit so that your customers feel a warm and friendly atmosphere. By using warm spotlights properly you can highlight the merchandise and emphasize the fast moving items. Proper use of glass displays will help in selling those high profit margin small gifts.

Stock management is important in this business. If you buy too little stock, your customers will end up going elsewhere. If you buy too much stock, then you will have to wait until next year before you can sell it again!

Ensure that stock levels are maintained and remove stock immediately once the season is over so that your customers always see the right cards at the optimum time. Some suppliers will even offer to take your excess stock back once the occasion is over.

You will have to accommodate for most budgets and tastes. This will involve carrying a large range of styles and different formats so that you can cater for people of all ages. And do not forget your wrapping solutions… from gift wrap, gift bags, bottle bags and money wallets.

Many suppliers provide retailers with beautiful stands on free loan provided that they are used to display their cards only.

By offering a tremendous selection of good quality greeting cards and using proper stock rotation this will translate into decent sales, repeat customers and great sales! People love buying beautiful greeting cards and if you get the shop front right, offer great service and your display is spot on, then there is no reason why you can not be a successful greeting cards retailer.

Social bookmarking on full autopilot

As part of the online community you would have heard Social Bookmarking. What is it exactly? Social bookmarking is utilizing a web service, where users create a public repository of bookmarks pertaining to sites that they like. When you list a site in your bookmark list, anyone looking for that same type of information can do a search at the bookmark site and find the sites that you have bookmarked. It is like a search engine without all the trash.

If you haven't seen a Social Bookmarking site - go to one of the most popular sites Delicious. The larger the tag of a website within a Social Bookmarking site and the brighter the intensity - the more popular the tag is!. And thats not all either.

Social bookmarking is fast becoming an easy way to see which websites were becoming popular with Internet browsers. the best way of keeping track of sites which we like was to keep a list using bookmarks or favorites. The trick with tags is to keep them simple so that the words you use can apply to many things.

If you're a writer and find interesting writer's resources add them to your account. If you're a news junkie and track particular newsworthy items. Give people the tools to bookmark easily. If you have a blog use Sociable. It's terrific. Check out trafficwebsecrets. com/socialbookmarking/bookmarking_demon. html.

Some Bookmarking services automatically put an excerpt of the page. Balancing being ethical and providing a useful service to others with promoting your own social tagged content enables you to be as aggressive as you like. Social bookmarking sites also help you to meet other people who are interested in the same topics you are and who may also have knowledge of web resources that you don't. To the un-initated, these bookmarks may seem like geek speak, but from an SEO standpoint these can build you a massive amount of back links which seem to originate from authority sites. Put Social Bookmarking on Autopilot!

Tips in choosing the multimedia projector that is right for your business

If you own or work for a business, chances are that you regularly hold or participate in meetings. These meetings would normally include presentations, e. g., of reports, product concepts, issues for discussion and/or decision making, and other business-related topics. These presentations are more effectively done with the help of a piece of equipment that is fast becoming a standard fixture in most businesses: the multimedia projector.

Thanks to modern technology, the multimedia projector has shrunk in size and is much lighter than it’s “ancestors”, yet is many times more powerful and feature packed. What is even better is that this superiority comes with a price tag that is a mere fraction of what the bulkier, higher maintenance and less user-friendly predecessors used to cost. With the presence of several competitors, these prices are destined to decline even more. No wonder then that even a small business can afford to have one.

What are the things you need to consider when investing on a multimedia projector? Consider the following factors:

• Size of venue – The size of the venue of your regular meetings gives you an idea of the minimum brightness (measured in ANSI Lumens. One lumen is the equivalent in brightness of one candle) that you would need for your multimedia projector. The bigger the venue, the bigger the screen size needed. The bigger the screen size, the farther away the multimedia projector needs to be located to achieve it. And the farther away the projector is the brighter it should be in order to display sharp images even during full-lit conditions. As a rule of thumb, do not consider buying a multimedia projector that delivers less than 500 ANSI lumens unless you want to be extremely selective as to where it will be used.

• Resolution Requirements – Previously, pixel resolution was a premium for an old projector, with the standard being a mere 800x600 pixels (VGA). This limited the enlargement that a projector could “throw” to the screen. Nowadays, it is not uncommon to have XGA (1024x768 pixels) resolution in a practically-priced multimedia projector. Some already have WXGA widescreen XGA which allows projection of a movie in a reasonably-sized room for private entertainment! Normally, however, XGA will do nicely for most of your requirements.

• Technology – There are currently three multimedia projector technologies currently available:

o LCD (liquid crystal display) is the established technology used by most of the leading manufacturers.

o DLP (digital light processing) is a newer technology used on some of the smallest, lightest projectors currently available. While LCD gives clearer still images, DLP provides smoother video images.

o LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon) technology uses liquid crystals on glass panels, and light passes through the LCD panels to the lens.

There are several suppliers of multimedia projectors available, both of the single and multiple brand varieties. It is advisable that you canvass for the equipment that best suits your requirements before making a final purchase decision. You will, therefore, need to know what it is that you really need before you go out start formal canvassing.

Tips for becoming a successful entrepreneur

Becoming an entrepreneur is something that a lot of people dream about. After all, these are the people who you hear about in the news making tons of money, and living the good life. Of course, not all entrepreneurs are rich, but it can be quite fun to live this kind of life. But before you decide that being an entrepreneur is right for you, there are some things that you will need to take a closer look at. Remember, if being a successful entrepreneur was a piece of cake everybody would be doing it. This is not to say that you have no chance of entrepreneurial success, but you cannot simply jump into this and expect to start raking in loads of cash.

Here are three tips for becoming a successful entrepreneur. At the very least, they should be able to push you in the right direction towards success.

1. A successful entrepreneur is one who knows what they want, and then works hard to get it. In other words, you should set your sights on a goal, and then do whatever it takes to reach it. A lot of people jump from opportunity to opportunity without ever really sinking their teeth in. You should avoid this at all costs, and instead work hard to reach one goal before you move onto the next.

2. Do you think that all entrepreneurs become rich and successful over night? The fact of the matter is that there are only a small percentage of people who fall into their success. If you want to be a successful entrepreneur you need to be willing to exercise some patience. Your first idea may not take off, but if you stick with things you will realize your potential sooner rather than later. If you are searching for a quick buck, you will probably be a disappointed entrepreneur.

3. There is nothing wrong with asking other entrepreneurs for help. Everybody needs some assistance along the way, and you are probably no different. If you know an entrepreneur friend, let them guide you if they are willing to assist. After all, getting first hand advice from an already successful entrepreneur is invaluable.

These three tips may go a long way in helping you to become a successful, and hopefully rich, entrepreneur. Of course, just like anything in life there is no guarantee. Only you will be able to determine the level of success you have in this new venture. If you want to be an entrepreneur who is all over the news, you need to go out and work for the right to do so. Nobody is going to make things easy on you, but successful entrepreneurs are born everyday. There is no reason that you cannot join them at the top.

After 2 400 years ordinary tie is no match for custom tie

It’s definitely “OUT with the old and ordinary and IN with the new and adventurous”. For 2,400 years, the standard necktie has been a staple. For many it is hard to break the tried and true habit of wearing the safe, secure standard print tie like our ancestors before us. Many of our standard prints and designs have been around for decades. Yes, ties have become wider at the ends, but little else has changed for a long, long time.

Neckties could be among the oldest, longest lasting examples of a clothing item acting as a symbol. China’s first emperor had a huge army that was duplicated in terracotta upon his death and each wrapped with a necktie. Why did they each have a necktie? We may never know for sure, but many scholars believe it was meant to show unity with the emperor.

With new innovations in technology and lower costs, we now have the chance to develop our own custom ties with whatever design we choose. Fortune 500 companies are making ties that feature their company logos, characters, products or colors and they are making waves in the workplace. Not only do custom ties and scarves serve as effective product branding, but they also allow company employees to feel like they are part of an exclusive group. This creates unity and camaraderie.

Custom neckties, often called logo ties or corporate ties, are becoming more and more accepted across the globe as companies, medical schools, fraternities, alumni groups and other organizations decide they want a tie or scarf to display what they are all about. They want to be unique and create a fellowship of togetherness that is usually only seen when everyone wears a same uniform. A custom tie is a way to show that everyone is on the same team. Whether you want to design a traditional “Brooks Brothers” look or a bold, bright, eye-catching corporate logo design, nothing is off limits now days. It just depends on what you want your ties to express. The possibilities are limitless.

Custom ties and scarves are also very affordable when purchased from the right supplier. And remember that anyone can make custom neckwear…but few have the ability to create award-winning designs that will make your custom ties and scarves really “pop”. It is easy to recognize the value of well designed, limited edition ties in creating corporate identity or renewed traditions in fraternities and alumni groups.

After all these years, why do people still buy and wear neckties? There is no simple answer, but ties continue to be seen as symbols. They bind groups and teams together whether those in a corporate environment, fraternity or on an athletic team. Not only do ties bind people to a common cause, they also motivate.

Fashion trends may come and go, but neckwear endures – for solid historical and cultural reasons. Custom ties create a fashion statement for others looking to escape the very conservative, traditional tie. Remember that new and adventurous is in. Old and stuffy is out. Have fun designing your very own custom tie; you’ll be glad you did.

Should you budget your money when you own a business

One of the most difficult things to do when you start a new business is putting together a budget. Without any financial history on which to base income and expenses, it may seem like guesswork, but as part of any business plan a tentative budget can be established with some thought and anticipation for the future.

In most businesses there are two main categories, income and expense. Under your expense category there can be several sub-categories often falling into two main areas of controllable expenses and uncontrollable. While many business owner claim they can control every expense involved in their business, they are simply kidding themselves as some things such as utility cost, the amount of rent and other so-called fixed costs can, and do change, with the owner having no control.

Other expenses such as payroll, insurance and advertising can be subject to a budget, but they are considered controllable expenses. If the business begins to fall off, you can control some of these expenses by laying off employees and cutting back on advertising. However, living by a budget will help maintain profitability in many respects but can also turn against you in the long run.

Depending on the viability of your business it often is a better investment to bite the financial bullet on employee wages and still provide good customer service to the remaining customers until business picks back up. By trying to everything yourself not only will you burn out quickly, but is no one is taking care of the customers, it will not take long until there are no more customers to care for.

There are two ways to budget your business money and that is through set dollar amounts and percentage of income. Many businesses will budget their controllable expenses by the dollar and non-controllable by percentage of income. Obviously a good part of the owner’s time is going to be based on bringing money into the business and how much they have to spend on controllable expenses will be in direct relation to income.

For example, a company earning $20,000 a month in income has budgeted six percent for payroll, providing $1,200 for payroll. If the income level rises to $50,000 the budgeted payroll percent does not change but the dollars available for payroll climbs to $3,000. With an obvious increase in business to create the additional income, the owner will probably need the extra help to take care of business.

There are many other expenses that fall into the payroll account such as worker’s compensation charges, Social Security tax paid by the employer and paid vacation time or other perks determined by the employer. While a budget may be difficult to establish for a new business, it is a necessary evil for all business owners.

Single-serving technology will transform your income

Working a home-based business the offers quality products can be a very rewarding experience. Having the ability to earn a significant income offering a quality product, is a wonderful opportunity if you get involved with the right company. Taking the time to evaluate potential companies, products and pay-plans, is essential to building a long-term home business.

I have been a top-earner with a home-based Network Marketing company. The reason is - I found a product that was effective, and people really liked. Residual sales would continue to come in, therefore, I was awarded a great residual income. It enabled me to really build a huge income, simply by increasing the number of people who got their initial order. Since people loved the product - giving out samples became a good strategy in getting people to try the product.

The difficulty in giving out samples, is the expense of handing out 32 ounce bottles (a common size of Liquid Nutritional products). Most first-time business builders do not have the investment money to buy a lot of product to give away - especially if the size of the product is in 32 ounce containers. An obvious solution would be for companies to develop smaller sizes to hand out as samples.

The obvious solution to the distributor, is not necessarily an economical solution for the Company. The production cost of putting out sample bottles, might not be economically feasible if the product assembly line is geared only toward mass-production of larger containers. Adding another size to the production, might not work for some companies.

Fortunately, I found a solution when I joined a company that offered single-serve technology as their product line. The company was smart enought to invest money in production of single serve bottles, rather than expensive fancy bottles. An excellent benefit to this type of production model, is that I have an inexpensive sample pack that I can give out to people. They can try the product and immediately determine whether they are interested in purchasing. Every time that I've given out product so far - I get a new customer. You can't find an easier way to build your business face-to-face.

I have often wondered why a company put so much money in the look of a fancy bottle, and took the value away from the product itself. I'd rather have a less-significant container, and more benefit from the product itself. With gogoforlife that's exactly what you get - Top quality products, in single serve containers - that people absolutely LOVE. Another great benefit is... residual home-income checks continue to rise, because the re-order rate is high and the distributors that I have recruited continue to drive sales by purchasing additional product to hand out as samples. A WIN, WIN, WIN opportunity.

Single-serve technology will change the Home-business industry. The companies that are leading the way will benefit the most. Home-based entrepreneurs that are smart enough to get involved now will reap residual benefits for years to come.

Internet marketing - finding a niche

One hurdle people find difficult to overcome is choosing their first niche. What they're suffering is that old "paralysis by analysis" feeling. They're thinking so hard about what will make money via Internet marketing, that they're totally ignoring one very important rule of business: Do what you love. If you aren't having fun every day. What's the point?

So, what can you do? Here are some ways that you can jog yourself into a great Internet marketing niche:

Decide what has fascinated you over the past 10 years. Maybe it's comic books. I like comic books. Is it a good niche? Perhaps. But you might be into fishing or gardening, or even kite boarding. But whatever it is, it has to excite you. You have to have a desire to want to learn more about the subject or you already have to be very knowledgeable, but you have to enjoy whatever your niche is.

Go to the library and walk up and down the nonfiction aisles, while looking at the book titles. The first book you're interested enough in to pick up might be a good choice of Internet marketing niche. But maybe not. Keep walking until you find something you can become engrossed in from antiques to zoology, you'll certainly find something that draws you in.

But if that doesn't work. Try giving yourself a sleep suggestion. When you close your eyes at night, ask yourself, what should my Internet marketing niche be? In the morning, you'll probably come up with an answer. No one is sure how this works, but it does. And, it works for solving just about any problem. Your subconscious has the information. You just need to access it.

Don't just settle on one Internet marketing niche, though. Try to come up with a list of about 5 that might be workable. Then, go over to the keyword selection tool at SEOBook. com and plug your niches in, one at a time. See what kind of traffic the main keyword for your niche is getting. Go to AdWords and see what kind of traffic words are getting. For example, if I plug fishing into the "Google Traffic Estimator" I see that the competition is high, the cost per click for AdWords is $0.69 - $1.01 and that the term gets 8,000 - 10,000 clicks on AdWords ads per day. That's a great niche to be in! On the other hand, if I plug in "basketweaving," it's at the other end of the spectrum. There's little competition, and there's only 1 click per day. Not too good. So, go through your list, until you find a term for which people are actively searching for and buying products.

Finding your Internet marketing niche shouldn't be that hard. Don't go nuts trying to decide what it is because it will probably change with time. You're learning, so much of what you do at the start will be changed and modified as you learn more and progress. Just don't' freeze up. You'll accomplish exactly zero, if you don't start somewhere.

How to increase website conversions

Many Webmasters and e-store owners get so caught up in trying to increase traffic levels that they almost forget to track conversions. However, the number of conversions, and the conversion rate of your site are among the most important figures to monitor. What qualifies as a conversion depends on your site but is essentially a visitor that performs a desired action – whether that's making a purchase, clicking a link, or submitting their information. The conversion rate is the number of visitors that perform this action compared to the total number of visitors.

You should always know your conversion rate, and be looking for possible methods to improve it. If you have the time or resources, track conversions on a daily basis. You can then use these daily figures to create weekly, monthly, and longer term figures. Whenever you make a change to your website, including a change in design or a change in content, track conversions before and after. The following are some key areas of website content that, when optimized, can yield a greater conversion rate.

Easy To Navigate And Easy To Use

All websites should be simple to use. Complex sites immediately put visitors off and an overly complex site will drive them to the Close button. Navigation should be simple, the buying process should be simple, and any body of content should be well structured and neatly laid out. This all helps to ensure that your website is simple to use and doesn't provide visitors with a reason to leave.

The Best Policy – Honesty

Don't lie and don't stretch the truth. Shoppers or visitors will eventually find out and they will be more than a little displeased. Credit card charge backs cost you money so you won't make a profit from fabricating the truth. Being honest also stretches to being open and not hiding the truth. If something is out of stock, don't sell it on the premise that it will be delivered that week. Give an accurate depiction of your shipping costs.

Don't Use 1,000 Words (Or Pictures) When 100 Will Do

Some pages on certain topics require a lot of content. Complex instructions or descriptions can take a number of pictures, possibly even a video tutorial, and some written content. However, the average surfer's attention span varies from three or four seconds to twelve seconds. Wherever a user falls in this range, that doesn't give you long to catch their attention and deliver your message.

USP – Unique Selling Proposition

The Unique Selling Proposition for your website is the thing that sets you apart from your competition. Whether you have free shipping, massive discounts, or impeccable customer service, you need to really push your USP. The Internet offers consumers an easy method to shop around for the best deal so unless you promote your USP, your visitors will be more likely to use another site. Most sites have a USP, but don't promote it.

CTA – Call To Action

The Call To Action is the portion of a web page that is supposed to attract visitors to take the next step. Most pages of a website should have a unique CTA depending on the position within the buying process. For affiliate sites, the CTA may be to click a link and make a purchase rather than a direct step within the purchasing process.

The CTA needs to be powerful and strong without being too pushy. It needs to adequately describe what you want your visitors to do and should be related to the rest of the page content and the demographics of your visitors. The CTA needs to be short, although “Click Here” is a poor example of an effective CTA because it expresses very little reason for your visitors to click the link.

Build Trust

Visitors to your website need to trust you before they will make a purchase or perform any other desired action. The more they trust you, the more likely they will be to answer your CTA. Trust can be built in a number of ways. An open and honest tone will help. Adding contact details, especially a physical address that isn't a P. O Box, and a phone number, ensures that visitors know you have nothing to hide. Adding informative and helpful content, such as buyer's guides or tutorials also helps to build some trust and will certainly help the reputation of your website.

Answering Your CTA

Persuading visitors to answer your CTA (Call To Action) can be difficult. You need to build a relationship of trust, convey an honest and detailed message, and ensure that your site is properly optimized to convert. The conversion rate is sometimes overlooked by Webmasters, because they become too hung up on driving more and more traffic to a website. However, if conversions are low then increasing traffic should be a secondary step.

Make money online - open an e-store

Opening a physical store can cost you a lot of money. Long before you start to operate your store, you already start spending considerable amount of money on store renovations, rent, business licensing, inventories and others. If you do not have ample capital, you may not be able to keep up with all the bills that will eventually pile up.

How can one get rid of all the expenses connected to setting up a physical store? Well, the logical answer to that question would be not to set up a physical store at all. Yes, you read it right, do not set up a physical store. If you want to save on cost, put up an online store instead of a physical store. The good thing about setting up an online store is that you need less amount of capital because you do not keep huge amount of inventory, hire a lot of people or pay huge amount of money on rent.

Can you really earn enough money out of an e-store? Yes, you can earn a lot of money from your e-store if you know how to market your goods.

Note that there are millions of online stores out there and if you do not know how to promote your website, you will probably be lost among the multitude of websites. If people cannot find your site, then you will not earn much out of it. Furthermore, if your website is difficult to navigate and your payment system is difficult to manage, even if people eventually find your site, they may not be able to buy your goods because your system is complicated.

Online shoppers always shy away from sites that are difficult to navigate. For most only shoppers, trying to understand how your site works is a waste of time and they are better off shopping somewhere else. Once you have lost an online client, it is almost impossible to get that client back. If you really want to earn money online through your e-store, make sure that you keep things simple and user friendly

How to get the most bang for your online advertising dollar

Internet advertising has become an effective way to market your business online. I did not realize this until I was having coffee with my good friend, Lisa in our favorite coffee shop. Since we both have online businesses and work from home our conversations tend to end up on the topic of doing business online.

I have been trying to look for ways to increase my sales, but I was not sure where to go or what to do so I asked Lisa about what she does to help increase her sales. Her business always seems to be doing so well, and she did do a little better than me in some of our business courses in college, so I do look up to her. She smirked, slowly stirring her coffee. I knew she already had something in mind for me to do and she was about to tell me, but not before funning with me a bit before she told me her secret.

She started to add some more cream to her latte, giving me that mother like squint while asking me what I was doing while we were in our business advertising, marketing and promotion courses. Well, I did learn a lot from my business courses, but so much has changed in so little time. While I was in college I was planning to open up a brick and mortar coffee shop, not selling specialty coffees online!

Lisa asked me what I had learned about advertising in our courses at college. I told her I remembered how important advertising was, but at the time I was focusing on a brick and mortar shop – not an online business coffee store. She giggled a bit and put her hand out. She said that all I had to do was take what I learned from commercial advertising to Internet advertising. Both commercial advertising for a coffee shop and Internet advertising for my online shop had numerous similarities.

Lisa reminded me about making sure that my Internet advertisements reached my target customers – those interested in coffee or those who would buy them as a gift. Those are my main customers, I thought to myself. She told me in order to reach them I would need to make sure that my Internet ads would reach those people such as on other websites related to coffee, newsletters for coffee lovers, etc.

Lisa said she had found several advertising campaigns that worked extremely well for her but she did have to do some work to find the most successful ones. I gave her a look and snidely asked, “You had to do research to find successful advertising campaigns with all of the knowledge you have?” She returned a bad look and smiled reminding me that the Internet consumers seem to be changing on a regular basis. You need to research several different ad campaigns to find the most successful ones for your online business. “How do you find the ones that are best for you?” I asked. She reminded me about this advertising class we had where our professor had us do an assignment on recording the effects of advertising campaigns to get rid of those that had little or no effect and keep the ones that were working. Ah, I remembered then. It is important to keep track of certain aspects of each different ad campaign (hits, costs, revenue, and ROI) to make sure we didn’t waste money on those that didn’t work and kept the ones that brought in more sales.

She smiled, touching my hand, exclaiming that I finally got it! She raised a finger toward my face and in a mother-like tone reminded me to test different ad campaigns and I would find the best Internet advertising for my business. I smiled, took notes and we enjoyed the rest of our coffee break.

To darn many ways to make money

Affiliate Marketing, Google Ad Words, Google Ad Sense, Network Marketing, Niche Marketing, Direct Mail, Real Estate, Stock Market Investing, Direct Marketing, The 4X Market, High Yield Investment Programs, Direct Sales, EBay and Online Auctions, Information Marketing……………the list goes on and on and on and on.

Where do you start?

What do you do?

Here is a story that you may relate with and hopefully provide a couple of ah ha moments. About 3 years ago I was speaking at an Internet Marketing Conference in Orlando, Florida. On the front row was a bright eyed enthusiastic young man in his twenties named Rob.

I was one of the first speakers at the event and my topic was “How to Create a $5,000+ Monthly Income with EBay and Online Auctions”. I could tell during my presentation that Rob was getting excited about the possibilities of making money with EBay & creating cash flow with online auctions.

When my presentation was over several attendees went to the back of the room to invest in one of my training programs. Rob was the first in line. I discovered later that Rob had invested in my Deluxe $1,500.00 How to make money with EBay package which included 8 hours of 1 on 1 training and coaching along with the DVD’s CD’s and manual.

I noticed throughout the weekend that Rob invested in 3 or 4 other programs during the seminar. I thought to myself, this is good. He is a newbie and he is going to try to find the right cash generating program for himself. I had the opportunity to visit with Rob briefly towards the end of the weekend, and sure enough he had inherited about $10,000 recently and decided to invest that money into a financial vehicle that would get him out of his dead end job working for the airlines.

I reminded him to contact our office to schedule his first 1-on-1 coaching session and encouraged him that online auctions can be used as a marketing division with whatever business he choose, even if he didn’t want to do auctions as a stand alone business. This concept is discussed at FundedProposals. com.

Six weeks later, I was reviewing my client list and going through some records and I realized that Rob had never called our office to schedule his first one-on-one session which he had already paid for. I rarely do this, but I decided to pick up the phone and check in with Rob.

He told me that he had marked in his day timer to call me that week. He then went on to share with me three or four businesses that he had unsuccessfully tried over the past 6 weeks that had not made him a penny. This was a clue, that this gentleman definitely had unrealistic expectations and I made a mental note to discuss this during our first telephone consulting session, which we had scheduled for a week later.

Over the next 5 weeks Rob and I met on the phone once a week. My goal was to teach him how to make money on EBay and become a full time entrepreneur He got 20 items from his closet and garage on EBay during the first week and sold 16, which is statistically above average.

His second week using some techniques we taught he put $301.00 cash in his pocket. The fourth week almost $500.00 more and he jumped over the $500 mark his 6th week earning $711.00. At this point Rob was well on his way to creating a full time income successfully selling on EBay, and I knew it was just a matter of weeks until he would be able to submit his resignation to the airlines.

His sixth week, he didn’t call in for his scheduled training session. I assumed that something had come up and was confident that he would be calling to reschedule. At this point I certainly wasn’t going to beg him to continue his “self education”.

Three years go buy and I never heard from Rob again, until about 2 Ѕ weeks ago. The phone rang at our office and my assistant told me there is someone named Rob XXXX on the line. I thought to myself Rob XXXX, I know that name, how do I know that name?

(I use XXXX to protect the guilty, but I will personally be sending him a copy of this article)

I took the call, and as soon as I heard his voice everything came back to me. Rob, what happened to you? I responded. I will never forget his response. “Well you know what the problem is Mr. Calvert, there are just too darn many ways to make money” He went on to tell me that he still had his crummy job at the airlines, and all he had been doing for the past 3 years was basically spinning his wheels, trying one entrepreneur enterprise after another.

He said he made the most progress during the short 6 weeks we spent together learning how to make money on EBay and he was ready to pay me my consulting and coaching fee to get him back on track and his income to $3,500 a month with online auctions so he could quit his job.

I see this epidemic everywhere I go. Would be full time, home based, entrepreneurs that are suffering from information over load. They are a jack of all money making methods and a master of none!

Is this you?

I have to admit, at one time that was me. I became so fascinated with the Internet and the possibilities that I spent hours upon hours studying different systems and implementing few or none of those systems.

Here is what I have discovered.

Choose the strategy & systems very carefully.

You must ask yourself, am I looking for short term or long term cash flow?

Is this a system that I want to run for a long time or short time?

What are the realistic income possibilities for this project? This is a very important question. One of the best quotes I have heard over the years is “You have to say no to a lot of good projects to make certain you have time for the great ones”

Once you decide on a project, you must STAY WITH IT, until you are profitable!

Always remember that the problem is not the project or the system. If other people are making it work, so can you. The real problem is always in the mirror.

The best money you can spend is on one-on-one coaching from a mentor who knows what they are doing. These type of coaches can take years off of your learning curve, and will pay you back 100 times what you invest in their knowledge and expertise.

I personally do consulting with people in three our four niche markets. I also personally pay a coach in another market I am in the process of mastering. I am always amazed that most of the time the people that hire me to coach or consult with them are already full time entrepreneurs earning strong six figure incomes. Yet the newbie will spend $97.00 over and over for the latest eBooks on the newest hot trend and never even consider hiring a coach. Listen, even Tiger Woods needs a coach!

Once you start a project, STAY WITH IT, until it is profitable.

Think BIG! Once you have a project that is working, ask yourself, how can I duplicate this?

I recently had a lady from Utah call me and wanted to hire me to consult with her one on one to teach here how to make money with EBay & get her business started and profitable. She was very discouraged because she had spent the last six months focusing on how to create a website designed to create income from Adsense. After she got her “self education”, she built her site in less than 3 hours. She said she had finally figured out the formula after spending almost $2, 0000 on books and courses, but last month she only averaged about $5.00 a day from her sight.

My response, “You don’t need me, you need 999 more websites”. This ladies problem was she wasn’t thinking big enough and she wasn’t thinking duplication. I told her after she had 1,000 websites each earning her $5.00 a day ($5,000 a day total) She could call me if she wanted and I could help her get to $5,000 a month in profit with EBay and online auctions. She thanked me for the paradigm shift and hopefully I will never hear from her again until we are speaking together at a seminar somewhere.

Is it time for you to quit spinning your wheels and get focused on exactly what systems and cash generating programs you want to master? A free book entitled The Top 6 Cash flow Systems for 2006 might help you, and you can get your copy at 2006Top6.com.

After you decided, get some coaching, get profitable & duplicate!

10 tips for a successful ppc ad campaign

1. When first starting out in the PPC search engines keep your bids close to $0.10 and never pay over $0.30 until you gain more experience. If you find yourself to low on certain keywords, just drop them and add more until you get your desired spots. Once you find a winner, raise your bids to get more traffic.

2. You are shooting for at least a 40% and ideally a 50% return on your advertising dollars. So if your selling a product that gives you a $20 commission, and a particular keyword takes 50 visitors to create a sale, than a 50% return would put your bid at no higher than $0.20 per click.

3. Fund your accounts with the lowest possible amount allowable. This will help you get started and get a feel for the system, without breaking the bank.

4. Never pay more than $50 on any particular ad without seeing a return on your investment. You need to either change the ad or start promoting a new product.

5. A great way to maximize your profits is to run two separate ads for the same product at the same time. This way you can see what ad is bringing in more sales. Drop the bad ad and add a new one until you are satisfied with the results.

6. When you decide what website or websites to promote, take the time to read the website and get familiar with it. Than pick your keywords and place your ads.

7. Make sure to keep up with your ads, watch them closely, and check your Affiliate Affiliate Bank account to see if the ad is pulling it’s weight.

8. Try to use your keywords in your ads as much as possible, it is known to give you a better conversion rate.

9. Add new keywords to your ads as you find new ones and get rid of the ones that are not producing. You need to maximize your profits whenever possible.

10. When you have an ad that’s producing nice for you always be looking for the next hit, this way you can have multiple streams of money coming in from different ads around the clock.

Oriental rugs

Oriental rugs have come a long way since their early days. The early days were a time when the rugs produced in the east were popular in the east only. Persia, India, Turkey and Tibet were some of the oldest manufacturers of these rugs. The main reason due to which these were not so popular in the west was lack of transportation in the older days.

The rug industry has carved a niche of its own. Initially, rugs were popular only in the west but in recent days, this popularity has spread to the east also. The manufacture of rugs using machines has also increased. One of the most favored among the machine manufactured rugs is the oriental rugs. Some of the properties of oriental rugs which make them unique are:

§ Though the cost of these rugs is high, they are designed with the finest textures and give a royal look to your home.

§ Oriental rugs are woven in different countries with different designs. For example, the rugs from Iran or Persia are huge, bulky, and exquisite. Oriental rugs are designed by incorporating the culture of their own country and the neighboring countries in the design. 828 International, AminCo, Feizy, Kalat, Lotfy, Momeni, Nichols, Fette, Samad, Tamarian, and Trans-Ocean are some important designs of oriental rugs.

§ These rugs when purchased from a genuine dealer are a lifetime investment and give good value for your money.

§ Oriental rugs come in Geometric patterns or simple designs, bright colors or light tones, with can make every room in your house beautiful.

The important factors to be kept in mind when purchasing an oriental rug are:

i. Since these are costly, the exact size which you require must be measured first.

ii. The quality of rugs depends on the knots woven per square inch. If the knots per square inch are higher, the rug is of better quality.

iii. Look for imperfections on the rug surface.

The oriental rugs are durable and environment-friendly. These are hand made and each strand is hand stretched to provide greater strength and consistency. The two types of knots used in making oriental rugs are - the symmetrical Turkish knot or the asymmetrical Persian knot. Horizontal looms are used to weave smaller rugs and vertical looms to weave larger ones. The time for completion varies with the size of the rug. Since oriental rugs are costly, all your needs must be assessed properly before you buy one.

The oriental rugs are designed by experts who are well versed with the tradition and culture of their region. They try to transfer this culture into their rugs through well depicted sceneries and designs. In the recent days, a sort of innovation has crept into the manufacture of these rugs. Weavers have been blending old models with new ones in the recent days. The Persian designs are famous all over the world today also. Recognizing this popularity, the manufacturers are finding newer ways to incorporate these designs into the modern rug
